Visas to Thailand

1. A colour copy or photograph of the full passport spread containing the biodata page. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application.
2. A colour photograph of the applicant taken within the last 6 months. Example of an acceptable photograph.
3. A document confirming the home address. It must be from the last month, be in Estonian or English, and show the applicant’s first name, surname and home address. One of the following is acceptable:
   • electricity bill;
   • utility / rent-related bill;
   • gas bill;
   • telephone bill;
   • internet bill.
4. Flight booking in English in both directions: from the country of residence to Thailand and onward from Thailand to a third country or back to the country of residence.
5. Accommodation confirmation in English for the entire trip. If several hotels or apartments are booked, multiple files may be attached.
6. Three separate bank statements in PDF format in English — for the last three months. The statements must show the account holder’s name and the balance at the end of each respective month.
   • For a trip of up to 20 days, the end-of-month balance for each of the three months must be at least €600 per person.
   • For a trip of 21 days or more, the guideline is at least €30 per person for each day of stay.
   • It is not necessary to send all transactions for the entire month if online banking can generate a statement for the last days of the month and the closing balance is clearly visible. For example, when applying in September: statement 1 — 23.06–30.06, statement 2 — 24.07–31.07, statement 3 — 24.08–31.08.
   • If one bank statement is used to demonstrate funds for several family members, documents proving the relationship in English may be required, such as a marriage certificate or birth certificate.
7. A copy of both sides of an Estonian or Finnish ID card — not required for citizens of Estonia or Finland. For citizens of other countries and stateless persons, the document must confirm lawful residence in Estonia or Finland and remain valid at least until the end of the trip.

1. A completed TDAC application on our website.
2. The application must include:
   • a colour copy or photograph of the passport biodata page;
   • a flight booking to Thailand — a one-way ticket is acceptable;
   • a booking for the first hotel or other accommodation;
   • if the return ticket has already been purchased, it should also be attached.

A Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) must be completed before every entry to Thailand. The TDAC is not a visa.

You may apply for the card through Viisa.ee in advance — no earlier than 21 calendar days and no later than 1 working day before arrival. We submit the TDAC itself to the official system within the permitted period — no earlier than 3 days before arrival, including the day of arrival.

Once completed, we will send the ready Thailand Digital Arrival Card to the client by e-mail. A new TDAC is required for every new entry to Thailand, including for children.

2. A colour photograph of the applicant taken within the last 6 months.
3. Proof of financial means. One of the following three options must be met:
   • funds in a savings or current bank account of at least 25,000 EUR; or
   • verified monthly income / pension of at least 2,200 EUR per month; or
   • funds in a bank account plus annual income / pension together amounting to at least 25,000 EUR.
   The following documents are accepted as evidence:
   • an official bank certificate in English;
   • a bank statement in English;
   • the documents must show the account holder’s name and the available balance;
   • an official pension / income certificate in English showing the monthly amount.
4. A police clearance certificate in English. At the time of application, the certificate must be no more than 3 months old.
5. A medical certificate in English, issued in the country of application and no more than 3 months old. The certificate must confirm the absence of the following conditions: LEPROSY, TUBERCULOSIS (T.B.), ELEPHANTIASIS, DRUG ADDICTION, and THIRD STEP OF SYPHILIS. 6. Medical insurance valid in Thailand for the entire visa validity period. Medical expense coverage must be at least 100,000 EUR. The insurance company must sign the form prescribed by the Thai insurance and health insurance authority. Download the form for the insurance company.
7. A document confirming the home address in Estonia or Finland. It must be from the last month, be in Estonian or English, and show the applicant’s first name, surname and home address. One of the following is acceptable:
   • electricity bill;
   • utility / rent-related bill;
   • gas bill;
   • telephone bill;
   • internet bill.
8. Additional form with detailed personal information. Download the form.
9. Applicants who are not citizens of Estonia or Finland must provide a copy of both sides of a valid ID card / residence permit.

The Non-Immigrant O-A visa is intended for applicants aged 50 or over who plan a long-term stay in Thailand. Employment is prohibited under an O-A visa. The visa is issued for 1 year.

Important: some official O-A documents may require notarisation, an apostille, legalisation or an official translation. Before starting the application, we check the document requirements for the individual applicant.

After entering on an O-A visa, a long stay in Thailand is permitted, but while in the country the 90-day reporting requirement must be observed — Immigration must be notified of the place of residence every 90 days.

2. A colour photograph of the applicant taken within the last 6 months.
3. Flight booking in English or Finnish for the first trip:
   • the outbound tickets must show that the journey starts in Estonia or Finland;
   • departure from Thailand must be no later than 60 days after entry.
   If the journey includes connections, the booking must show the complete itinerary to Thailand.
4. Proof of accommodation in Thailand for the first trip. One of the following is acceptable:
   • hotel booking;
   • rental agreement;
   • proof of property ownership;
   • when staying with a private person — an invitation, a copy of the host’s passport or ID card, and a document confirming the host’s address.
5. Bank statements in English or Finnish for at least the last 6 months.
   • At the end of each month, the balance must be at least €6,000 per applicant.
   • The statements must show the account holder’s name and the balance.
   • The bank documents must be issued by a bank operating in Estonia or Finland.
6. Proof of employment / occupation:
   • for employees — an employer’s certificate in English stating the position and salary;
   • for entrepreneurs / company owners — registration documents or other evidence of company ownership.
7. A document confirming the home address in Estonia or Finland. It must be from the last month, be in Estonian or English, and show the applicant’s first name, surname and home address. One of the following is acceptable:
   • electricity bill;
   • utility / rent-related bill;
   • gas bill;
   • telephone bill;
   • internet bill.
8. Applicants who are not citizens of Estonia or Finland must provide a copy of both sides of a valid ID card / residence permit. The document must remain valid at least until the end of the first trip.

The multiple-entry tourist visa (METV) is valid for 6 months. Each entry allows a stay in Thailand of up to 60 days (the stay cannot be extended by an additional 30 days).
