Entry through land border checkpoints is limited to 2 times per calendar year.
Visitors must comply with immigration rules and not overstay. The fine for overstaying is THB 500 per day.
Visa Application for Thailand
1. For Estonian Citizens 
Estonian citizens can travel to Thailand for up to 60 days without a visa.
All passengers must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card
Required documents for tourist visa application:
- Copy/scan of the passport, valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip.
- One color digital photo (the photo can be taken at our office). - Photo quality criteria
- Completed and signed application form. All phone numbers must include a country code, and addresses must include a postal code. - Print the application form
- Copy of flight tickets in English (round trip).
- Hotel reservation in English for all travel dates.
- Copy of the latest phone/electricity/rent bill showing your name and address.
- Three separate bank statements in English in .pdf format (no bank signature required) for the last 3 calendar months.
- If the trip lasts up to 20 days, the minimum balance at the end of each month must be 600 euros.
- If the trip lasts 21+ days, the minimum balance must be 30 € for each day of stay.- Example 1: If you apply for a visa in November and travel for up to 20 days, you must provide the following bank statements:
- 01.08-31.08 (balance on 31.08 must be at least 600 euros)
- 01.09-30.09 (balance on 30.09 must be at least 600 euros)
- 01.10-31.10 (balance on 31.10 must be at least 600 euros)
- Example 2: If you apply for a visa in March and travel for up to 45 days, you must provide the following bank statements:
- 01.12-31.12 (balance on 31.12 must be at least 1350 euros)
- 01.01-31.01 (balance on 31.01 must be at least 1350 euros)
- 01.02-28.02 (balance on 28.02 must be at least 1350 euros)
- Example 1: If you apply for a visa in November and travel for up to 20 days, you must provide the following bank statements:
Visa processing time: approximately 2 weeks (application can be submitted not earlier than 90 days before arriving to Thailand)

Notes:
- For a family bank statement, proof of relationship is required.
- A 90-day visa allows staying in Thailand for no more than 60 days at a time. The visa can be extended for 30 days.
- A transit visa requires a visa for the destination country.
- Photos must be taken within the last 6 months.
2. For Russian Citizens 
Russian citizens can travel to Thailand for up to 60 days without a visa.

Required all the same documents as for Estonian citizens + a copy of the Estonian/Finnish ID card.
3. For Stateless Persons with Estonian Residence Permit 
A visa must be obtained before the trip.

Required all the same documents as for Estonian citizens + a copy of the Estonian ID card.
4. For EU Citizens 
The requirements are the same as for Estonian citizens.
