Egypt Regular Visa Application Form

♦ This application is intended for a regular visa, primarily for holders of an Estonian alien’s passport and citizens of other countries travelling to Egypt for more than 30 days.
♦ The procedure has two stages. Preliminary approval takes at least 40 calendar days; no maximum processing time is guaranteed.
♦ Until approval is received, you are strongly advised not to pay for flights or accommodation unless the booking can be cancelled free of charge.
♦ After approval, you must provide the original passport, flight and hotel bookings and pay for the second stage within 60 days.
♦ The passport must remain valid for at least 7 months after the proposed date of arrival.

Conditions for processing a regular visa for Egypt

I confirm that I have carefully read the conditions for processing a visa for Egypt and understand the following.

1. Stages of visa processing

Stage one. I provide a copy of my passport, a photograph and a completed application and pay the first part of the processing fee. The Visa Centre submits the documents to the Egyptian Consulate, which sends a request to Cairo for visa issuance approval. Approval takes at least 40 calendar days. I am strongly advised not to pay for the trip before approval is received. If approval arrives after the planned trip or is not issued, the stage-one payment is non-refundable.

Stage two. Within 60 days of receiving approval, I undertake to provide the Visa Centre with my original passport, return flight booking and hotel booking and to pay the second part of the processing fee. The documents are submitted to the Consulate for the visa to be placed in the passport. Processing depends on the Consulate’s workload and usually does not exceed three weeks.

2. Rights and obligations

Payment for the trip is not recommended before visa issuance approval has been received.
If more than 60 days have passed since approval and the passport has not been submitted for visa placement, a new approval application is required.
Approval does not guarantee that a visa will be issued. The final decision is made by the consul.
The Consulate may change the requirements and fees without prior notice.
The stage-two fee is determined on the day the passport is submitted, not on the day the approval application is filed.
Payments for both stages are non-refundable regardless of the Consulate’s decision.

3. Waiver of claims

I will not make claims against Viisa OÜ or the Egyptian Consulate if approval is received later than expected, is not received, the visa is refused after approval, or the visa is not placed in the passport by the departure date despite timely submission of the documents.
